Throughout human history, bridges have been regarded as one of the greatest engineering marvels. They let our ancestors go from one place to another without having to take long detours or risk their lives on the fast waterways.
If you’re astonished to find out that some of these historic bridges are still surviving and being used by visitors, it’s because they’ve undergone some restoration.
In contrast, some newer bridges are so high that they’re not for the faint of heart.
