Royal Gorge Bridge (Colorado)
Anxieties set in as soon as we set eyes on this bridge. To date, the Royal George Bridge has held this distinction as the nation’s tallest suspension bridge. From 1929 until 2001, it was the highest bridge in the world, rising 955 feet over the Arkansas River.
