Monkey Bridges (Vietnam)
When it comes to distance, the Monkey Bridges of Vietnam are the farthest thing from the Golden Gate Bridge you’ll find. The Mekong Delta is crossed by the bridge in this shot, which is named after the way people walk over it.

A single bamboo log was used to build this monkey bridge. Locals often cross these bridges, despite the fact that doing so may be hazardous to people who are unfamiliar with them. It’s not uncommon to see locals hauling 50kg over these monkey bridges since they’ve become used to this Vietnamese practice.
