Kawarau Bridge (New Zealand)
The Kawarau Bridge, in Queenstown, is a renowned tourist destination. It is now mostly utilized for tourists, rather than for practical reasons. The bridge is a popular location for bungee jumping.
Hikers on the well-known Queenstown Trail often cross it. It is common to observe people using the crossing at all hours of the day and night.

We could only cross the bridge by rushing, since if we paused to look down, it was already too late for us to turn around.
