Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge (Thailand, Laos)
Six Southeast Asian nations are linked by the Mekong River, which may be crossed using a structure that we hesitate to refer to as a bridge.
In most instances, the “bridge” consists of nothing more than a series of wires, which can only be crossed by a skilled tightrope walker. Most of us would have to be insane to cross the raging rapids below the “bridge.” However, the wire bridge is a part of everyday life for the courageous residents who live there.
