Fortnite Season 5 is nearing its close, with the week 12 challenges right around the corner. Here’s how to complete them.
We still have a month left in Fortnite Season 5, but we’re nearing the finish line for one of the longer seasons in recent memory. As players gear up for a possible season-ending event, we’re still working our way through the Battle Pass and into the enlightened skins for the season.
Thanks to Fortnite data miner, iFireMonkey, we got an early look at the Week 12 challenges that will go live on Thursday. Here’s what we’ll need to do along with a few tips that should help you out.
Fortnite Season 5 Week 12 Challenges
- Deal Damage within 15 seconds of gliding (200)
- Visit Scenic Spot, Gorgeous George, and Mount Kay (1)
- Destroy inflatable tubemen llamas at gas stations (3)
- Find a family portrait from a shipwreck (1)
- Throw a fish back into the water (1)
- Hit different opponents with a Harpoon Gun (3)
- Catch different weapon types from fishing spots (3)
Fishstick is staying in the mix this week with another list of fishing-related challenges. Thankfully, we won’t be searching around the map for specific locations for all of these.
We’ll update this post with links to guides to the more difficult challenges when we find them on the map, but the fishing challenges will be as easy as dropping into a game of Team Rumble, grabbing a Harpoon Gun, and hitting the waters.
Dealing damage after gliding is prime for Team Rumble as well. All you need to do is fly off of a structure, land, and kill an enemy.
We’ll update you when we have guides for the location-specific challenges. These usually won’t pop up in the game until the challenges are live for everyone.
Until then, make sure to follow us on Twitter @FortniteINTEL so you always stay up to date with the latest Fortnite news.
The Fortnite Season 5 Week 11 challenges require you to serve Fishstick and his date a fancy dinner at any restaurant.

Fishstick is hungry for a Valentine’s Day meal. Here’s where you need to go to serve Fishstick and his date a fancy dinner at any restaurant.
The Fortnite Season 5 Week 11 challenges all center on the theme of Valentine’s day. Players will be dealing damage with the returning Crossbow, finding Fishstick a date, and helping Lovely get a valentine.
One stage in the Fishstick questline requires players to serve Fishstick and his date a fancy dinner at any restaurant. As the name suggests, you can complete this at any restaurant on the map, once you finish the quests leading up to it.
Here are three of the most prominent restaurants in Fortnite: Durr Burger, Pizza Pit, and Stick’s. There could be a couple of more, but you only need to visit one of them.
Once you land at one of these spots, you need to find the specific table at which Fishstick will sit. You can’t just any old booth, which was what gave us trouble when we first attempted the challenge.
You’ll want to look for a fancy table with a fish sitting in one of the chairs. At Durr Burger, this will be located outside of the restaurant. Look for a table that has the same design as the one in the picture, below.
All you need to do is walk up to the table, interact with it, and finish the rest of the game. Make sure that you catch enough different kinds of fish before attempting this challenge, or else you won’t be able to interact with the table.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 11 is here. Take a look at the rose locations in Steel Farm and The Orchard.
The Fortnite Season 5 Week 11 challenges are all Valentine’s Day-centric. We’re finding Lovely a valentine and finding Fishstick a date.
This challenge, requiring players to find a rose at Steel Farm or The Orchard, will help the latter character find love this Valentine’s Day. Let’s start by marking each location on the map, in case you’re unaware of where the farms can be found.
Steel Farm rose location
The Steel Farm rose is located just outside of the front door to the farmhouse. This is probably the easier of the two roses to get since you can land on top of it and probably won’t run into much trouble.
Even if someone is dead-set on killing you, you can probably sneak in the capture before meeting your demise. After that, it’s onto the next challenge.
The Orchard rose location
To grab the rose at The Orchard, you’ll first need to gain control of the main house – one of the more contested buildings at this POI. You can find the rose on the bottom floor of the building, fittingly under a vase and painting of flowers.
Again, we recommend hitting Steel Farm over The Orchard for this one. It’s a bit easier for challenge purposes, but here’s The Orchard rose if you’re passing through.
You can take a look at the rest of the Week 11 challenges here. These are more difficult than we’ve seen, recently, so our guides should be a big help for you.

One of the Fortnite Season 5 Week 11 challenges requires players to choose a character to be Lovely’s valentine. Here’s what you need to do.
Fortnite Season 5 is on the back half, which means there’s a limited time to finish the Battle Pass and move onto the enlightened skins. Week 11 is here, offering players several ways to earn XP with these Valentine’s Day-themed challenges.
One such challenge requires players to choose a character to be Lovely’s valentine. Here are the locations you need to visit and what you need to do.
Choose a character to be Lovely’s valentine
This challenge may seem a bit difficult at first glance, but it’s actually quite easy. All you need to do is complete the first stage of the challenge, finding chocolate boxes, and then give a card to any NPC on the map.
You can even knock this challenge out at the same time that you find a rose at Steel Farm or The Orchard, as there are NPCs in each of these locations. If you notice, the “interact” option will be replaced with a “give card.” Talk to the NPC, and you’ll finish the quest.
We recommend giving the card to Fishstick, for no other reason than that he’s clearly lonely this Valentine’s Day. The easiest option would be to find an NPC in a remote location – far away from the bus path.
Bandolier might be the safest option. You can find him at the abandoned hut to the north of Flush Factory. This is a seldom-visited location on the map, and he offers you a weapon upgrade as well.
