The Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 challenges require players to obtain literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row. Here’s where you need to go.
The Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 challenges were released a bit early this week. The list is relatively easy to complete, but there is one challenge that requires a bit of knowledge.
The challenge requires you to obtain four literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row. The literature can be found in bookshelves – but only some of them. Here’s where you’ll need to visit.
Fortnite literature samples locations
As the challenge suggests, there are two literature samples at each of the three locations. With only four needed to complete the challenge, you only need to hit two of the POIs – provided that you visit them in a game of Team Rumble.
Here’s a video from YouTuber, HarryNinetyFour, on the locations of four of these literature samples. They include two in Pleasant Park and two in Lazy Lake, which is all you need to complete the challenge.
As always, a game of Team Rumble is the easiest and best way to finish this challenge. With one of the other challenges requiring players to upgrade Mechanical weapons, Lazy Lake provides a perfect location to do both. There are plenty of cars here, which is where you get Mechanical Parts from.
We’ll keep you posted when the Legendary challenge for Week 2 releases, as the Epic challenges hit the game before the Legendary reset. Good luck!
The Fortnite Season 6 Week challenges are available in-game. Take a look at what you’ll need to do to earn XP and rank up the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 is here, which means a list of new challenges to complete for XP rewards. Here’s what you need to do.
Surprisingly, the Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 challenges were released on March 23 – a Tuesday. Challenges typically release on Thursday, but Epic could be shaking things up this season.
Either way, we now know what we’ll have to do to gain XP in Week 2 and level up through the Battle Pass. Let’s take a look at the requirements.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 challenges
- Craft a Mechanical Bow, a Mechanical Explosive Bow, and a Mechanical Shockwave Bow
- Deal damage with Mechanical Weapons (300)
- Deal damage to opponents (1000)
- Ride different Ziplines (5)
- Obtain literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row (4)
- Get a headshot with a bow (1)
The Week 2 challenges for Season 6 aren’t too difficult but will require you to learn a bit more about the new crafting system.
The Mechanical Bow requires a Makeshift Bow and two Mechanical Parts, the Explosive Bow requires a Mechanical Bow and Grenades, and the Shockwave Bow requires a Mechanical Bow and Shockwaves. You can complete this in one game if you’re lucky enough.
You can ride most of the Ziplines at The Spire. There are at least four at this location if not five. If you still need one, you can always visit Weeping Woods or Dirty Docks.
Getting a headshot with a Bow may take a bit of time, but it will happen if you like the new weapon. For this one, our only tip is to learn how much bullet drop the Bow has.
These challenges dropped a bit earlier than expected, and didn’t include a Legendary challenge. This challenge will reset on March 25, so we’ll update this article when the time comes.
As usual, the best way to complete all of these challenges is in a game of Team Rumble. With enough luck, you can finish all of them in only a few matches. Good luck!

Fortnite Season 6 is here, which means that there are new challenges to complete for Battle Pass rewards. Here are all of the Week 1 challenges and how to complete them.
The Fortnite Season 6 update changed a whole lot in the game, but we still have the same list of challenges to complete for weekly rewards.
Season 6 kept the familiar challenge and quest system from Season 5, so you’ll recognize many of the same elements when you jump into your first game. Let’s take a look at the challenges for Week 1 and how to complete them.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 1 challenges
- Find golden artifacts near The Spire
- Craft a Hunter’s Cloak
- Collect mechanical parts from vehicles, trailers, buses, or tractors
- Investigate anomaly detected at Lazy Lake
- Hunt Wildlife
- Craft Mechanical weapons using mechanical parts and a makeshift weapon
The first week of Season 6 challenges is relatively easy. As you might expect, the challenges have players experimenting with the new mechanics of the game.
We already have a guide to the crafting system, but you can collect mechanical parts by smashing cars, trucks, or other vehicles. You can then use these materials to upgrade your existing loadout.
The Legendary challenge for the week, which will expire when Week 2 arrives, has you crafting items. You’ll need to craft 10 items to completely finish the challenge and earn all of your XP.
We’ll keep you posted when the Week 2 challenges go live, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, you can take a look at the full Battle Pass here and start working your way through it.
The Fortnite Season 5 Week 15 quests have players hiring a character for support. Here are all of the locations where you can find them.

One of the Fortnite Season 5 Week 15 challenges requires players to hire a character. Here’s where you can find these NPCs to hire.
Fortnite Season 6 is less than a week away, which means that time is running out to finish the Battle Pass and work your way through the Enlightened Season 5 skins.
In week 15 – the final week of challenges – players are required to hire characters. Here are the locations you need to visit to hire a character and earn 40,000 XP.
Hire NPCs in Fortnite Season 5
There are plenty of NPCs around the Fortnite island, but only a handful of them allow you to hire them for their services. More NPCs allow you to hire them than to duel them, but you’ll still need to know where to go. These characters include:
A few of these NPCs have two possible spawn locations, so it’s probably a good idea to aim for characters like Mancake, Lexa, or Reese who spawn in the same spot in every game. Remember, you only need to hire one character to complete this challenge.
Here’s a map of all of the hire-able NPCs on the Fortnite map, courtesy of Fortnite.gg.
Fortnite Season 6 begins on March 16, so this week is shorter than normal. Make sure to complete all of your challenges before the next season starts. Good luck!
