The Cotopaxi Volcano Road, Ecuador
This road certainly promises an exciting ride if you find yourself in Ecuador looking for a thrill. Crossing the Cotopaxi Volcano Road is something of a wild experience. The whole 25 miles are unleveled dirt and there are potholes all over it. There are twists and turns around streams and rivers.
Also this road runs underneath the Cotopaxi Volcano which is a live volcano and often erupts, covering the road in molten lava. Although you need to be a daredevil to risk your life attempting this trail, the views you can expect to see are incredible.
