Stelvio Pass, Italy
This mind-boggling mountain pass features many zigzag type twists and turns. It’s wild and beautiful and boasts plenty of stunning scenery. It isn’t a drive for the fainthearted because of all the sharp turns.
If you don’t mind the crazy zigzags though, you can expect awe-inspiring scenery between Bormio and Stelvio in northern Italy. The pass is 9,000 feet above sea level, making it the Eastern Alps’ highest paved mountain pass and the second highest in the whole Alpine region.
