The Passage Du Gois, France
Look at this amazing road. It might look like it heads right into the ocean but in fact it runs to Noirmoutier, an island off of France’s westerly coast. This is a naturally occurring path. The road used to be made from sand banks and the paving has been added from the 1800s until relatively recently.
It’s fair to say this road is a unique sight but there is one condition to follow if you want to walk it and that’s to get the time of day right. The entire path is under water during high tide and you won’t want to get stuck in the middle!
