The Million Dollar Highway in Colorado
This impressive and beautiful road is known as the most dangerous trail in Colorado. Although the views are exceptional, it’s a treacherous road to traverse. It spans 3 mountain passes of 10,000 feet each and winds over the steepest of cliffs. There isn’t even a single guardrail between the road and the sheer cliffs, making it a hair-raising experience.
There are also lots of sharp hairpin curves. It’s believed the name of the road is because a driver said she wouldn’t drive down there again for a million dollars.
