Adriatic Coastal Roads, Croatia
This road initially looks gorgeous. Look at the impressive views and incredible vistas. You’d be right about those but you also need to know it’s not the easiest road to drive on. The twists and turns are plentiful and there is no safety barrier or hard shoulder in sight between the road and the sheer cliff faces.
In addition to that, the road is very narrow and has traffic going in both directions at once, so it’s definitely a hair-raising adventure.
