The Zoji La Pass, India
This is one of the most striking roads found anywhere and is 11,000 feet above sea level in parts. The road is constructed along some of the Himalayas’ highest peaks. You will be above the clouds for some of the drive which offers plenty of stunning photography possibilities.
The word ‘la’ means mountain pass in India, while ‘Zoji’ means snowy. You are guaranteed to see some of the most spectacular views you ever saw. This pass is only open during the summer months because in winter there is a risk of avalanches and it’s completely buried under the snow.
